Hill & Company is a traditional family high street legal practice based in Cheshire, established for over 170 years and supporting clients through every stage of life.

Hill & Company needed signage that honoured the heritage and credibility of a 170-year-old practice while giving the brand a cleaner, more contemporary look that felt relevant to a modern audience.

Established legal practices carry a particular kind of trust that takes generations to build. The signage needed to reflect that heritage without feeling dated, striking a balance between tradition and a cleaner, more current identity. We updated the logo and brand to bring it in line with where the practice is today, retaining the authority and character of the original while giving it a sharper, more considered finish.

The new signage was produced and installed to a high standard throughout. Ornate bracketing fabricated from mild steel and powder coated black gave the exterior a strong, classic frame. A double-sided projecting sign with decorative scotia moulded borders and gold vinyl lettering carried the refreshed brand with confidence at street level. An engraved polished brass plaque mounted on a hardwood timber plinth completed the installation, adding a final touch that spoke directly to the heritage and professionalism of the practice.
